📋 How to Create a Listing

Fill in the item details
SKU is auto-assigned. Set type, subject, price, condition, and location. Year and jersey # are optional but help the AI write a better description.

Upload a photo
The AI reads the photo to research the item — the more detail visible, the better the description. Optional but recommended.

Click ✨ Generate with AI
Bench writes the description paragraph using your photo and item details. You can revise it with a follow-up instruction if needed.

Review title & template text
The eBay title auto-fills from your fields (80 char limit). Edit the notice and shipping text if needed before generating HTML.

Click Generate Listing HTML
Produces formatted HTML ready to paste into eBay. A preview renders on the right so you can check it before copying.

Paste HTML into eBay
Copy the HTML → open eBay Seller Hub → Create Listing → Description → switch to HTML view → paste. Add your photos in eBay, set the SKU in the listing, then publish.

Save to Inventory
Click Save to Inventory to add the item to Bench. Then paste the eBay listing URL into the item's Edit modal so Bench can link back to it.
